Tips for helping members reduce their premiums

• Change excess level
• Change or remove additional options, such as Dental & Optical
• Move legacy members to on-sale products such as Day to Day if a hospital and surgical plan is too expensive (underwriting may be applicable)

New excess levels available

Excess levels, ranging from zero to $10,000, are now available for StaffCare, StaffCare+, StaffStay, SmartStay are now available. Our legacy products, Major Medical and Real Value Plan, are also included in this upgrade. Previously, excess levels were only available for our SmartCare products.

Members joining or leaving a group

Incentives for members leaving a business plan

All members who leave a business health insurance plan before they have reached 12 months cover have the option to take up our SmartCare product range, if they stay with us. Underwriting is still required.  We also offer the option of Day to Day for these members should they wish to cover their everyday medical costs which is a cost-effective product with many great benefits.

Submitting birth dates for quote requests

Please provide a spreadsheet with the dates of births of employees when submitting a quote request. This lets us process your request much faster along with setting them up in the database once they are confirmed.
