On 8 December, Accuro Health Insurance held their AGM for the Financial Year ending 31 August 2022 which included the election of two Directors onto our Board. The Accuro Board is made up of four directors elected from the membership and up to three co-opted/appointed directors. Accuro would like to thank those who put themselves forward for election and congratulates Marion Guy and Erica Hodgson on their successful re-elections to the Accuro Board.
Marion Guy, a registered nurse with three decades of health sector and governance experience, has been on the Accuro Board since 2016 and is currently the Chair. This will be Marion’s third and final term on the board.
Marion says about her re-election, “I am excited to be re-elected to the Accuro board for a final term. This will enable me to continue to work with our amazing staff while sharing my extensive governance experience and health sector knowledge to ensure our members have better choices for healthcare”.
Erica Hodgson was also re-elected onto the board to serve her second term, having been elected in 2019. Erica is a registered Occupational Therapist who has worked for 19 years in the mental health sector and now specialises in governance roles across health.
Erica says about her re-election, “I am delighted to serve the membership of Accuro for another term and see the completion of the exciting projects we have been working towards for the past few years. Thank you to the membership for your support of my role.”
All elected Directors serve a three-year term and are eligible for re-election up to a maximum of three terms, or nine years in total.
