Accuro Health Insurance is pleased to note the appointment of Toni Ferrier as the new CEO of AIG New Zealand.
“Toni has made a great contribution to the governance of Accuro since her appointment in July 2017 as an Accuro Co-opted Director. Her extensive commercial insurance experience has made her an invaluable asset for both our governance and management teams” says Tony Haycock, Accuro Chairman.
One of the largest insurance companies in the world, the AIG group has operated in the general insurance business in New Zealand since 1970. They provide a range of insurance products including general property insurance, life insurance, retirement and financial services but don’t provide health insurance.
AIG NZs’ parent company American International Group, headquartered in New York has been world famous in NZ since 2012 for its sponsorship of the All Blacks, All Blacks Sevens, New Zealand Women’s Sevens, Maori All Blacks, Black Ferns, and the New Zealand Under 20.
“Toni will step down as a director of Accuro at the end of this calendar year to take up her new appointment. She leaves with our congratulations and best wishes for her new role” says Haycock.
